About Me...

I am a founding member of BFIT, you are wondering what that is?

Most of you have probably heard of WIT (Women In Technology) a wonderful program designed to encourage more women in entering the Engineering and computing sciences.

Well, BFIT (Balding Fat-guys In Technology) is a ‘support’ group of sorts for all of us Balding Fat-guys to get together an have some fun, drink beer, have more fun, drink more beer and just be fit (BFIT, get it?)

My name is Pete, and I am a 30 year old database programmer.  I sort of accidentally ended up in computers during the Year 2000 crisis and  I have been there ever since.

My hobbies include, beer nights with my friends, being fat, balding, programming, Tom Clancey Novels, collecting DVD’s, brewing beer, and online gaming.

I am working on getting a picture of my ugly mug put up on this page, but until then, head over to Beer.com and have a look around there.  Its more interesting than my face anyway.
